BPS M5 Product Training

The BPS® M5 is the system for commercial applications in G+D’s High-Speed World for high-volume cash processing. As the successor to the BPS® 1000 (with over 1,400 installations worldwide), it processes mixed denominations of banknotes with different formats and substrates.

We currently offer two training courses for the BPS M5:

BPS M5 Full Scale: The 13-day training course is for service technicians new to the modular M-segment BPS platform. After completing the course, participants will be comfortable with the repair and maintenance of the BPS M5. Software, Mechanical Repair, and Electrical System Repair are the topics covered. Included is BPS Connect Casino product technical support information.

BPS M5 Crossover: The 5-day Crossover course is for service technicians who have successfully completed the BPS 1000 or BPS M3 training course. This course focuses on software installation and configuration and only the Mechanical/Electrical differences from the BPS 1000/M3.

Please follow these instructions to register for this course:

View calendar. Click on the calendar to see what courses are offered and available.
Log in or create an account. Once you create your account, you will receive an email with easy instructions on completing your registration. Please validate your account by following the link in the email. Once the account is created, you will be redirected to your “Dashboard.”
Complete the Competency Evaluation quiz. You can access the quiz through the “Home” tab in your Dashboard or by following this link. Follow the self-enrollment steps to start the quiz. Once you have completed it with a passing score of 70, select the “Mark as done” button. Return to the training website.
Reserve your spot. Return to the training site calendar, select the course on the course calendar you would like to attend, and ‘RSVP.’*
Confirmation. You will receive a ‘Welcome to class’ email from the training department.

*If the class you want to attend is full, select the “Request Technical Training” button. You will be redirected to fill out and submit a form. The G+D training team will review.

Training attire is work casual. On Friday’s, Jeans are acceptable to wear.

Non-G+D Personnel: You must log in (Course Enrollment Login) and successfully pass the GDAI Competency Evaluation before you can enroll in a training course.

Required Items for All Training Courses:

– Windows XP, or Windows 7/10 with VMWare Player 12.1 or 15.5 installed – all operating systems should include full administrator privileges.
– Microsoft Office suite
– Adobe PDF Reader

• Which Operating System your BPS machine is currently utilizing (e.g. Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 10, Windows CE7)
